Verdun Vol. 1: Before the storm
December 1915, the Germans seem to be preparing a major attack on one of the strategic points of the French defense line, in Verdun. But Marshal Joffre refuses to strengthen the area, convinced that the real battle will be played out in Champagne. January 1916, the attack is no longer in doubt. Only a miracle could save Verdun.
